Mari4_YARD is implementing aerial inspection based on the use of drones in shipyards for operations surveillance and/or 3D scanning.

The drones may provide information useful in re-engineering processes and in the comparison with existing digital ship models, as well as for the optimization of construction strategies adapted to different kinds of vessels, or for the improvement of workers’ safety inside shipyard facilities.
